General information

Our goal is to do what’s best for our customers by keeping reliability and customer satisfaction high and rates low. For over 75 years, we have consistently provided electricity more than 99.8 percent of the time while keeping our rates for electricity, water and natural gas services below the national average.

We also want to hear your questions, concerns and feedback, but ask that you keep it friendly, constructive and free of profanity (violators may be banned). If you have a problem, we want to help. If you have a Customer Service concern, please dial 256-535-1200 – to report service outages, dial 256-535-4448.

Our customer care hours on social media are Monday-Friday from 8:00AM until 5:00PM. During inclement weather or other events that may cause service outages, our social media channels will be actively updated, monitored and engaged.
