Established in 1923, the DH Steffens Company provides professional surveying services to Southern Maryland and the Washington/Baltimore region. Our clients include federal, state, and local governments non-profits commercial and residential developers and individuals/homeowners. The firm provides surveying services and support for the creation of record plats, aerial topography, field run topography, boundary surveys, as-built surveys and ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys. All types of construction stakeout are provided, including stakeout of curb and gutter, storm water management, storm drain structures, bio retention area, parking lots, building pads, and other utilities. Deed research (deed mosaics) and all types of permit processing are provided. Lot line retracement, improvement locations, and residential site plans are a specialty.
