General information

I am a real estate attorney whose practice is focused in closing services, title insurance, and banking law, including both residential and commercial closings for properties located throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

I am licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Virginia and am Virginia CRESPA/RESA certified. This allows my office to handle real estate closings in both Tennessee and Virginia. I am also a licensed title insurance producer in both Tennessee and Virginia, and I write title insurance through Fidelity National Title Insurance Group. This allows us to provide both buyers and their lenders with an array of title insurance products that may be requested or required as part of their financing process.

In additional to closings financed with conventional secondary market (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae) and in-house loan programs, we close cash purchases, FHA loans, VA loans, and USDA loans. We are also approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to close transactions involving HUD properties. Finally, we close on foreclosure purchases and REO/bank-owned properties.

Our office is set up to handle high-volume title requests, and in addition to in-office closings, we also offer mobile closing services to accommodate lenders, real estate agents, and their customers.
