Central Oregon Business IT Setup and Support:

We provide comprehensive support to many businesses in Central Oregon. We can help you with everything from solving day-to-day tech problems, to tutoring and training for you or your employees on computer or application use, to helping you integrate new computers or devices into your current business setup, to managing/updating/provisioning business iPhones and iPads, to designing and implementing a completely new replacement computer/technology setup.

Central Oregon In-Home Mac/Apple Setup and Support:

We specialize in patiently helping people with whatever they need help with. Can’t figure out how to connect your printer and actually be able to print every time? We can do that for you. You’re kid’s laptop doesn’t connect to your wireless, but everything else does? We can get that sorted out. Did you buy a whole new computer and you need it set up with accounts for everyone in your family, and backing up to your Time Capsule? We can make that happen. Mac/Apple Tutoring and Training:

If you have anything from a quick question on how to setup your Mission Control and Dashboard, to training on Quickbooks, Photoshop, or Final Cut Pro, we can sit down one-on-one and train you how to do exactly what you need. We can do tutoring/training at your home or business, or you can bring your computer to our centrally located office a we can train you here.

iMac, Macbook, Mac Mini, and Macbook Pro Repairs and Upgrades:

Is something in your Apple computer on the fritz? Do you hear an obnoxious whine or a unsettling clicking? Did you step on your computer and break the glass screen on your Macbook? Or do you just want to put a bigger hard drive and add some RAM to make your computer run faster? What about data recovery and transfer if your computer stops working? We can handle all kinds of out-of-warranty hardware repairs for you, and we’re a lot faster and more affordable than the other Mac repair places in Central Oregon.

iPhone and iPad Repairs and Screen Replacements:

In 2012 Mactek merged with The iPhone Professor – provider of the very best, fastest, and most affordable iPhone and iPad repairs in Central Oregon. As an example, if you drop your iPhone 4s on the pavement and break the screen glass, then your options are to send it back to Apple, try to take it back to your carrier, or get it repaired locally by an independent repair shop like us. If you send it back to Apple, it will cost $200 or more, they’ll send you a refurbished one back (not your same phone), and you’ll be without a phone for 5-7 days. Going to your carrier varies a lot, but usually its even more expensive than Apple. If you bring it to us, we can repair your phone and have it back to you usually in 2-3 hours, and we can do it for $99.

Home Audio/Video Setup and Troubleshooting:

Here at Mactek we have spent a lot of time working with home audio and video systems. Even if your home theater system isn’t based around a Mac, we can help you troubleshoot any issues you’re having and get your audio/video system streamlined and running smoothly.
