Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park inspires calm reflection among ancient giant redwoods and sunny sandhill ridges. Its historical significance and spectacular scenery draw travelers from around the world. Within its 4,650 acres, visitors can enjoy 30 miles of hiking and riding trails, as well as picnicking, swimming, camping, and fishing.
Henry Cowell Redwoods SP is home to ancient redwoods, the San Lorenzo River, a meadow, and the rare Santa Cruz Sandhills.
There are 3 separate vehicle entrances to this park.
The campground and Santa Cruz Sandhills portion of the park is located at 2591 Graham Hill road.
The day-use entrance, where you can find the meadow, river, and old-growth redwoods, is located off Hwy 9 in downtown Felton.
The Fall Creek Unit, where you can find a new-growth redwood forest, the river, and historic lime-kilns, is located at 1400 Felton Empire Road.
