Children’s College is a preeminent child care facility in Slidell, LA. It is a Class A facility for pre-school and Kindergarten. The owner and director, Mrs. Nargis Akhtar, was the first in the Slidell to introduce computers to young children in the late 1980s. In addition she began teaching and continues to teach her native Swahili language as part of the curriculum and has programs to expand the geographic and cultural world of the children.
