Education Empowerment – a School Drop Out Prevention Project, Non Formal Education for out of school youth; Child Play Therapy Sessions in Thika Women’s Prison and a Child Sponsorship programme for former street children attending secondary schools and special schools.
Economic Empowerment – Into Work Programme for older street youth, Family Sponsorship and Micro Finance projects with acutely vulnerable families.
Youth & Community Empowerment – After School Children’s Clubs to prevent identified children from being exploited on the streets in the evening and at weekends, Outreach Clinics for street children in Makongeni and Ruiru, and Community Training and Research activities.
Interim Care Centre for children who cannot immediately rejoin their families; carrying out intensive non-formal education, rehabilitation, counselling and family reintegration work.
Kenyan Children’s Legal Aid Work (KCLAW) providing free legal advice to children and guardians and advocating for children’s rights and fair treatment.
School Feeding programmes in St Patrick’s Primary School for five hundred vulnerable children daily
Holiday clubs during school holidays for acutely vulnerable children, providing additional education, extra interest lessons, lunch and games/sports, helping to keep them off the street and away from abuse and exploitation.
