Welcome to our community about Irland and its culture.
Ireland is magical - a state of mind – with experiences you don´t really comprehend unless you meet them with an open and friendly attitude – and if you go to Ireland in this way you will surely get it returned. As the Irish say themselves: Ireland is where strange tales begin - and happy endings are possible.
With this community we hope to give you a small glimpse of our fascination of Ireland :
- The beautiful nature with the many sights & the small, cozy villages
- The deep blue-green Atlantic ocean and the grey rocks
- The beautiful beaches
- The great weather – the sun always shine in Ireland!
- The friendly B&B´s where all is homecooked
- The sheeps on the roads – yes, they are still there!
And especially because Ireland is a feeling
- of going back 50 or 100 years in time
- of silence – and of music and laughter
- of joy and of melancholy
- of ancient history and mythology
- of greatness and tiny things
and the most difficult thing to explain:
- of feeling good, of being in good company - and in short: of feeling AT HOME.
